I had the opportunity to create a new logo for the Sterling Name Tape Co. in Winsted, CT. They are a “custom, narrow-web” print shop specializing in fabric brand and care/content labels for garments and other textiles. I used symbols that are easily identifiable as related to textiles to clearly communicate the nature of the labels on offer. The needle and thread elements were created in Adobe Illustrator and paired with a mix of typefaces that I hoped would capture the character of the company.
